Current Projects

At present I have two continuing projects:

1. A longer book or several ones, to bring together  my reflections on the nature, tasks and methods of philosophy, and then how they have applied to the themes and topics of my principal publications, plus new materials. So far it has been titled Identity, Individuality and Value: A personalist philosophy, with the following chapters;

PART I: PHILOSOPHY
1. Philosophy
2. Two methods for philosophy
3. Fiduciary and fallibilist philosophy
4. Ontology
5. Axiology

6. Cosmology
PART II: FROM WHOLES AND PARTS TO SELF-DIFFERENTIATION
7. Identity and unity, wholes. and parts; (1) In general and in physical entities
8. Identity and unity, wholes. and parts; (2) In living and intelligent entities.
9. The person as unique self-differentiation of love
PART III: SOME APPLICATIONS OF THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE PERSON

Politics, Economics.

2. A shorter book  on language, 'The Effable and the Ineffable', prompted by  a publisher who, I think, has read my 'The real significance of metaphor: Lucian Blaga and Michael Polanyi', which will be on the tacit dimensions of language, truth and logic. I am working on this now and only when I have finished it shall I resume work on the other project. Then its principal contents will be summarised and fitted into it.
